Go to your Stats page and check your top 3-5 posts. Why do you think they’ve been successful? Find the connection between them, and write about it.

To Write a Blog Post

He sits down at his computer, cracks his fingers and mounts the keyboard. He’s happy today; life is going his way, things are really shaping up. No, that won’t work, he thinks, nobody will read that. He opens a new web browser to check out the news. Murder, tears, desperation, poverty, war; the news always has writing material, something to take his mind of the wonderful life that surrounds him, something to put him in the mood to write another popular post.

On second thought, his thoughts wander again, maybe something funny today. That’s still tough, besides humor is so subjective, another bit on unicorns and drunken leprechauns might bore his followers. Derogatory tales of frat brothers seem to insight anger and generate myriads of hateful email.

Ah, a light at the end of the tunnel, angry emails and a loss of followers bring him nearer to depression, a state of mind perfect for writing another popular post.  Ah-ha a decision, unicorns and drunken leprechauns it is!
